The Emergency Room

So Allie and Sadie were being little girls and were twirling around the living room (from lack of entertainment in our little one bedroom apartment). Unfortunately, Allie fell and hit her head on the coffee table and instantly started screaming. I picked her up to find blood running from her forehead into her eye. I instantly grabbed a washcloth to cover the blood so it doesn't scare Sadie. And stupidly I call Todd to see if I should take her to the hospital.(like he could tell over the phone!) When Todd didn't answer I decided to call my dad. Since I am without a car, I frantically start calling everyone I know out here to find someone who could drive us to the hospital. When I walked into the ER every seat was taken, that's how busy it was! Once we made it into the back Allie was pretty tired since it was 9:30pm so she was cranky. The nice nurse brought her popcicles and stickers to keep her happy. Since the cut was deep but not very long, the doctor decided to just glue it shut, which is a lot easier than giving a 1.5 year old stitches!
