The Braves VS the Phillies

Here are some pictures from the baseball game that we went to. I would have taken more pictures but Allie was asleep on my lap. The stadium was completely sold out (40,000 seats). They handed out little towels for everyone to wave and Sadie really got into that. We had a hard time explaining that she was cheering for the wrong team. We wanted that braves to win. She threw the biggest one time because everyone started cheering and she couldn't find her towel to wave in the air. She ended the game lying on a blanket under our seats watching Cinderella on the video ipod.

A day at the farm

So I was able to find a farm about 5 minutes away that let us pick our own raspberries, apples, pears, and pumkins. So we went on Saturday morning. However, there had been a slight early morning rainshower which made all these really annoying little nat like bugs come out. We discovered if you stayed close to the ground (like Allie) you wouldn't be attacked. But these were literally swarming, which is why Sadie had her hood on. The bugs kept flying into her ears. Needless to say, we hurried as fast as we could and didn't take very many pictures.

Back seat driver

One day's lesson for Sadie was that red means stop and green means go. I decided that was a very bad lesson to teach. Now as I am approaching a stop light Sadie will yell, "Stop mom! Stop! Red means stop!" Then when is turns green I hear "GO! Green means go!" So the other day I was at a red light turning right when Sadie madly yells out, "Mom Stop! the light is red! Don't turn!" I found myself trying to explain to a 2 year old why I can turn right when the light is red. I didn't expect this problem for another 10 years!

Binky?

Allie has found an alternative to her binky. This is a fence post from a toy and for some reason she loves to suck on it. So she crawls around the house with it in her mouth. She will also go into the kitchen and suck on the door pulls on the cabinets. She is crazy...definately takes after Todd. The other day someone told me that they looked exactly alike. When they are in the double stroller people always ask if they are twins!? These two kids are SO different and don't look anything alike! I guess that is part of the fun of having kids...you never know what they will look like or what their personality will be.

One lone little piggy

Allie wanted a turn getting her hair the other day so here is the result.

OCD?

Today has been a bad day for the potty. After retraining her once we moved I thought we could move on, but alas this is a persistent problem. So after the 2nd accident before noon, I was so mad I told her to go upstairs and get some night-night panties. I gues I should have been more specific...After I finished feeding Allie I turned around to see what she as doing and this is what I found. (For once in my life I caught her in the act on camera!) I wonder who she gets this from? I thought needing the closet doors closed before crawling into bed (remember Emily) was just part of keeping the room clean, Todd informs me that it is OCD. Oh well, at least she is clean and orderly!

Torture or Beauty?

I feel like my life has come full circle. I can now torture my children the way that my mother tortured me. She actually sat quite still so that I could put the curlers in and then was very sad when it was time to take them out.

Play Doh and fun

Sadie loves playing with play doh. We have to wait until Allie is sleeping otherwise she goes after it with alarming speed and agility.

Here is a picture of Sadie and Allie playing their favorite game. Sadie hides under a blanket and waits for Allie to pull if off and then they both giggle until someone ends up with wet pants...

The Living Room

Here is my table. I am still waiting on two more chairs. I wanted a counterheight table (I'm not sure why) but Sadie has already fallen off the chair.

Here is the living room that Todd didn't help paint one bit of.

The fireplace (please don't look at the ghetto antenna. Todd is figuring out a solution to hook it up in someother bedroom and have it work on this tv something about creating a loop or something...)

Here is allie eating her cherrios. That is all she will really eat...those and Grandma Matheson's peaches. My children would opt to only eat those peaches. Unfortunately, we are down to the last jar.

Sadie also wanted another picture taken.

Coming Soon: Pictures of Sadie in her halloween costume.....

Oh My Goodness Sake!

Sadie says this phrase all the time. I told Todd it could be a lot worse! So here is her little video. I forgot that you can't turn the camera and do video...so turn your head instead :)

Heather's First day of school

Yep, you read that right. I am going back to school. I am getting my real estate license. I have class Mondays and Wednesday nights 6:30-9:30 until Mid November when I will take 2 state exams. Then I plan to be Todd's Sugar Momma. Someone needs to make money around here! I am a little nervous since it has been 2 years but we should always be learning right?!!

My neglected child

Since I have been busy painting the whole house my children have been lacking in the attention department. This was Friday and I had put Allie to bed and was doing touchups on the kitchen and I kept asking Sadie to go up to her bed. After a few minutes I realized she wasn't saying her letters anymore. She slept there for and hour until Dad got home.

Allie's Crawl

So Allie has a retarded crawl. When on carpet she rotates between knees and feet. When on hard surfaces her knees will not touch. This doesn't seem to slow her down in any way.

My Kitchen

So I have finished painting the kitchen. It is now finished except for the desk area where Todd will be installing a desk.
