So Sadie's birthday party marked the first party I have ever thrown for my kids. I stressed over this party for weeks. I'm not sure what I was worried about. It's not that hard to impress a bunch of 4 year olds! Sadie has a Little Mermaid theme party. We played "pin the flower in Ariels hair", Toss the money bags (bean bags) into the treasure chest, Sebastian crab races, and decorated prince/princess crowns. Then they all went on a treasure hunt to find the treasure chest that held their goody bags. Here are the few pictures we got:

New Year's Eve
Since we earned a free turkey for Thanksgiving from our grocery store we decided to deep fry our turkey with some friends. Todd and Dave getting the oil ready. I figured I could use this opportunity to advertise my services. If anyone wants to buy a house my info is on the sign.
The faithful watchdog. Now I realize that we were frying it in the garage, but don't distress because our next door neighbor is a fireman. It's all good!
Now I forgot to take pictures of the final product, but we complimented our turkey with cranberry jello, gouda potatoes (thanks Lauren), Cornbread Stuffing (that tasted pretty dang close to Christine's version) and lots more yummy food!
