Growing up, my family was always die-hard when it came to parades. You go really early and snag the best spot and bring lots of snacks. So I wanted to pass on the tradition. We woke up early this morning and got everything ready. As we head out the door it starts raining. I went and got a bunch of donuts to share and we headed to get the best spot. We got to the parade at 9:00 and saved seats for friends and sat in the rain waiting for it to start. Luckily we got some spots under cover from the rain. As our friends showed up, one turned out to be one of my neighbors from college! Once the parade started we had to move out onto the street to see. I think Sadie thought she was in the parade. She had so much fun waving to everyone.

Is that your roommate, Becca, the nurse? Is she in Phili? Did you know she was there? or was is a surprise to see her? What is she doing now?
How fun! Too bad it rained. You are a better mother than me... Jace really wanted to go to the parade here and I had every intention of taking him but it started at 9:00 and there was no way I was going to make it in time. Oh well, Megan said it was soooo lame anyway. Maybe next year! Your girls are adorable...I love the bright blue eyes and the dark brown eyes, you sure they're sisters?!! Guess we will see ya soon. Good luck with that plane ride!

How crazy that your ran into an old Pine View friend! That happens here occasionally, but that's crazy to have it happen so far from BYU-I! It looks like you and the girls are having a great time. Happy Summer!
