I'm hooked

For those of you who have not read this series, it is an absolute MUST. However be prepared to not put the books down until you have completed them. Each book took me a bout a 24hr period to read. There is a fourth book being release in August and the movie will be released this winter. The book is NOT the traditional LDS book, as it has nothing to do with religion. And for those people in Wyoming who said not to read the third book, you were totally wrong. But alas, my favorite is still the first book. The books are: Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse written by Stephanie Meyer. Now since the Pottstown library even had it there should be no excuse not to read them. I even got them on audio CD for Todd to listen to during his commutes.

Pictures

So a couple of weeks ago, I had the insane idea of getting the girls pictures professionally done. Allie hadn't had hers done professionally yet. (I know I am like the worlds worst mother) So as always, it was an extreme nightmare. I left in tears with both girls screaming and 4 pictures that were acceptable. These are the result.

Snow

The other day Todd and I were watching the news. The weatherman said that we had only received 3" of snow this year and to only expect about 10" more this season. He forgot to warn us that it would be all in one day. Now I know all those in Idaho are probably thinking that I have no room to complain since they have been hit so hard this year. But this is the most snow we have received at one time, thus allowing Todd and Sadie to utilize our little hill in the back yard this morning as a sledding hill. So Todd took the day off of school. Most of the the school districts were all closed. And yes, those are sand toys they used to build a snow castle. And yes, that is a pool raft that she is sledding on. Let's just say that I prefer the summers to winter and so we don't have any snow toys. And Allie got stuck watching from inside since she doesn't have a snow suit.

Here are some pictures of our bedroom. As you can see the back wall turned out a little crazy, but we have to live with it. Todd won't let me change it.

Girls Room

I finally finished the girls' bedroom. I still need to finish curtains and make some pillows for Sadie's bed. I wish I would have made a second one for Allie's bed!

This was one morning before church.  I love the fact that I made that sweater for Sadie in Oct of 2006 and it still fits.

Todd's Beard
