One day's lesson for Sadie was that red means stop and green means go. I decided that was a very bad lesson to teach. Now as I am approaching a stop light Sadie will yell, "Stop mom! Stop! Red means stop!" Then when is turns green I hear "GO! Green means go!" So the other day I was at a red light turning right when Sadie madly yells out, "Mom Stop! the light is red! Don't turn!" I found myself trying to explain to a 2 year old why I can turn right when the light is red. I didn't expect this problem for another 10 years!

That is the funniest thing I've heard all week! And it's been a pretty funny week. We taught Evan that red means stop and green means go a while ago, but he would say "it's green, now we get to go!" He was never too concerned if I went when it was red. He doesn't really pay attention unless I call his attention to the lights, though.
That was good for laugh. thanks I needed it.
