Fun in the sun

So here is Allie's Tarzan crawl. She can pull herself up on anything. She loves to stand and because of that she wont go on her knees, she always go to her feet!

Praying Mantis

This was the largest praying mantis I have ever seen. It was just on the side of our apartment. It was 4 inches long!

Crazy Naps

Last week I was on the phone with Emily and making dinner at the same time. Sadie had said she was hungry, but I was handling raw meat so I told her to wait until after I finished making dinner. I knew she was playing with her shoes. So I continued on talking to Emily. I looked over to check on her a few minutes later and she had fallen asleep trying to tie her shoe. Notice the pee spot on her pants! Yep, since I wasn't planning on her sleeping, I hadn't asked her to go potty. Why did I want to potty train again??

Silly Sadie

We all know how much Sadie loves her bunny. I had told Sadie to go take a nap because she was grumpy. I let her read books to help her go to sleep. I could hear her reading to herself. A few minutes later I peeked into her room to see what she was doing. After taking the picture I asked what she was doing..."Reading Bunny some stories!" Then I asked why she had her shoes on (they are her favorite, though two sizes too big she wears them whenever she can get away with it) her reply was "They're too cute!"

Fun at the Game

Here are pictures from the baseball game we went to. As Dad already knows, we typed in the stadium into the navigation system and drove to where it told us and we ended up in the middle of a subdivision!? We had driven 15 minutes PAST the stadium. It was 103 degrees out...I'm not sure what we were thinking. Luckily it started to cool off as the game went on. After we parked the car, we realized that Sadie had peed her pants without giving us any warning. I had a pull-up in the car but no extra clothes. So Todd cranked up the heater and held the pants in front of the vents to dry. Fun times!

Having fun at the Pool

This is what we do on a daily basis. We will really miss having a pool in our "backyard". Only 3 more weeks left!! The countdown has begun. Todd and I have never been so excited about the summer ending as we are this year.
