Lies

A couple of weeks ago Sadie and I had a discussion about commandments and that lying is a commandment. I had told her that we have to repent if we break commandments. Yesterday I asked Sadie to pick up a few of her toys. Within a few seconds she was back in the room and I asked her if she had put everything in the correct place, which she assured me she had. Later I was in the bathroom and found all the toys stuffed behind our pedestal sink so I sent her to her bedroom. After a few minutes she came downstairs and I asked her what she needed to do to fix her mistake (expecting her to apologize to me for lying to me). She answered, "Mom, I already said a prayer to Heavenly Father and told him sorry for breaking his commandments!" (With an attitude that said Duh mom! Don't treat me like a child!)

Sadie Turned 5

Sadie turned 5 on the 11th. She decided on a castle cake.

Handsome

I'm in love with another man (shh don't tell Todd!) Although he's balding, has the most horrid smelling gas, and is gaining weight at an alarming speed I am thoroughly enjoying every moment with him.

Allie turns 3

Allie turned three on the 5th. It was pretty low key. I didn't even have the energy to make her cake!



But she was super excited for this Dora book from Grandma Matheson!

Blizzard 2009

Yesterday we received 12 inces of snow. Church was cancelled for the 2nd week in a row. Here are some pictures of the kids playing.

This is the downside to having 2 older sisters. I was cooking dinner and came to check on the kids. This is what I found....poor guy!
