Phillies

On Friday, Todd and I got a babysitter and went to the Phillies game with a bunch of the other dental students. We tried to sneak in some cans of soda into the game, but were literally patted down at the entrance.

Haircut

So Sadie was cursed with the worst hair ever. We have been patiently waiting for it to grow long and beautiful and I don't think that will happen anytime soon. So, I decided to actually cut it instead of trimming like I was. Here is the result. It makes her look even more like I did when I was young.

Birthdays

Nope this is not a picture from Christmas morning. This was from this morning. That's right, I am now 25. I was quite impressed that Todd even wrapped the presents even if he could only find Christmas paper. He got me a spice rack, some new towels and a watering can to use in my garden. He also made me the best stuffed french toast for breakfast.

Here are some pictures of us just hanging out

The Gate

While I was planting the garden, Todd was showing off his manly abilities by building a gate for the deck. I have been asking for this gate since we moved in. Now I can let the kids outside without worrying if they are going to wonder off. However it only took Sadie one try to figure out how to unlatch the gate. Now I will have to get a padlock and lock the gate. Todd did a great job and now we should all call him Todd the builder.

Our Backyard

As many of you know I have really been working hard to plant a garden this year. I planted all my seeds back in March and we have been watering and tending these fragile seedlings. So a couple of weeks ago we prepared our garden area by killing all the grass and putting down the decorative bricks so that the lawn crew wouldn't accidentally mow down our garden. So as soon as Emily and Nate left we decided to transplant my seedlings into their home.

Saturday Barbeque

So last Saturday we had a barbeque with a bunch of the dental students. Todd did a great job of spreading the word and it was one of the largest gatherings of 1st years (that I have been to.) I think there were over 20 people and it was so much fun getting to know everyone. Too bad the weather was cooler so we couldn't play out on the grass.
