Flights

In case anyone was itching to come out for a visit, Southwest is running some great promotions such as Denver to Phili for $99 one way and Dallas to Phili $99 one way and SLC to phili $99. The trick I discovered is took book the tickets separately (Denver to Phili and then book Phili to Denver). Here is the link: http://www.southwest.com/hotfares/

Guitar Hero

We discovered there is a little Guitar Hero in everyone. We were lucky enough to be able to borrow Guitar Hero from a friend for a week. Sadie was so excited to play. After we would finish playing a song, Sadie would say, "Mom you rock!"

Easter Dresses

So I finally finished the girls Easter dresses. I was up until late Saturday night sewing the ribbons on the front. Unfortunately, I sewed the straps on last and the pattern was kind of weird. When I put their dresses on this morning, I couldn't get them over their heads. I had to cut the stitching out to get the girls out of the dresses after church. I will have to put buttons on instead. The girls loved twirling in their dresses. They had a layer of netting so they were extra fluffy. We were lucky enough to have Dave come and visit and as always, we got some great pictures. If you click on the pictures you can see that Sadie has a great black eye. She learned the hard way what happens when you jump on the bed.

Cleaning

I'm not sure what anyone else's children do while you vacuum. But this is what my children do. Sadie and Allie follow the vacuum around the house with their feet on the back of the vacuum where all the hot air blows out. Maybe I need to turn the heat up.

More Amish Country

So we began our day going to an Amish Smorgasbord. The building was about as big as Cabelas. It had like 5 ballrooms.

This was the buggy parking at the smorgasbord.

This was a cute little horse bike. The price tag was $600.

This was a cute little outhouse that was just Sadie's size.

Amish Country

On Friday we decided to take a trip to see Amish country. Here are some of the pictures from our fun filled day.

A day in the Park

Today it was 60 degrees so we couldn't resist going to the park. Allie, I discovered, hates the swings. She soon discovered her love for the slide and the rock wall you had to climb up to get to the slide. While we were there, Sadie made friends with another little boy who had a kite. There is a picture of her running with the kite behind her. She was quite a pro at kite flying.
